I met a man from New Orleans who approaches sales like this, "A closed mouth doesn't get fed. If it's not said, the hand don't get fed!".
Think about that for a minute. You need to inform your customers about product knowledge, you need to give them samples (not keep them for yourself),
You need to EDUCATE them on our Fragrances.
Tell them when we have sales on their favorite items, You need to let them know that of the last three catalogs, you will guarantee them the lowest price possible. So - in your business communication is KEY. Where do you get that education? You need to
1) log in to you system and watch WEB TV.
2)You need to take Avon University Training Classes.
3)You need to always keep 1 book from every catalog so you know what the "deal" was from each book.
4) You need to click on the Magnyfying Glass to compare prices.
5) Learn how to do a product query in the system so that if Bug Guard is 50% off, you can contact all of your most loyal customers.
and the most important one.....
You need to keep your phone active and turned on. If you cannot communicate with your customer, you can't make money, and you can't get fed.
Whatever you are spending your money on, reprioritize and put your phone as #1. Too many times, I need to contact you and cannot.
You are in business for yourself, but never by yourself.
We will never tell you how to run your business,
we will only tell you how to be successful.
You can be successful if you are accessible.
I get 5-7 new customers a week from the internet. The most common statement I get is, "There were lots of Avon Ladies online, but your picture was there, and and your phone number worked."
Think about it!
