What does it take to be an Avon leader?  I need someone with the following qualifications:

January Sands Division Rally was Jan 22, 2014


The Theme and message was all based on January.  The God Janus is an ancient Roman, composite, obscure God who is associated with doorways, beginnings, and transitions. A usually two-faced god he looks to the future and the past. The concepts of January and janitor are both based on aspects of Janus.
The important thing to remember is to look forward but glance to the past only to remember not to repeat mistakes.  Stay focused on the future.  Stay focused on your path.  Let's talk about that.  What are you doing to plan campaign 4?  You have distributed your brochures, but then what?  Have you vocalized an amount that you want to sell for Campaign 4.  It's a proven fact that if you say the $$ that you want, you will make all efforts count towards achieving that goal.


 1) State how much you want to make
2) Divide the amount by 25.00
3) This is the amount of customers you need to succeed
4)  Don't stop asking for orders until you get at least 12 orders
5)  You need to see it in your mind; see yourself as a cussess
6) Believe that you have the abiolity to do what it takes to belivfe it.
7)  Lastly, work with all your heart, might and mind to achieve this goal.

To send or not to send...that was the question!

In October, we were given a directive from Corporate that we did not have to forward the 1st 2 copies of the contract to Pasadena and that when our Reps registered for the first time, that would be their contract as they agreed with the terms and conditions, checked their boxes and then proceeded on to build their website.

"But what about the people who sign up, pay their 10.00 and never register, then after 45 days, their account is closed and they need to sign up again? " - Leadership posed that question to Corporate and also made the point that "How can we do contract correction if we don't actually have a copy of the contract?".  Karen in Leadership told me today that going forward, please send in the copies as we always have done.  As far as the past (October to December) goes,
  •  if we have shredded the document we can print one down and have them sign it from "My Account", and send it in if we want. 
  •  If we still have the original and DSM copy, please go ahead and send it to Pasadena.
  • The contracts they really would like to have are the ones which reflect on your reports, "not online" - which means they have not registered.
  • If you cannot recover that original, don't worry, in 45 days, they will get a letter with the terms and conditions and they can sign and return it to Corporate.

CAMPAIGN RESULTS - NEW REP TRAINING - WELCOME REPS - AVON DISTRICT 7291 STANDINGS

  • CAMPAIGN 2 IS NOW CLOSED.  OUR TOTAL UNIT SALES WERE $2,262


We need 4,500 to progress to the next level.   We are working hard to come back from the post Holiday blues.  Best way to fix this is shopping therapy, right? 
  I know I can count on all of you to increase your sales - here is a way to do it.  1) Keep asking until you get at least 10 customers - this insures that you will have orders for the next campaign; 2) Step out of your comfort zone and ask people who are NOT family and friends.
3)  Suggestive sales.  If someone wants a perfume, see if there is deodorant or powder to match.  b) if someone asks for mascara in black, point out that the brown black would be a more neutral day look and the black would change them up to a more sophisticated evening look.
If you need other ideas, please ask.  If you have some ideas that work, please share with the group!

The first of the year has hit strong and we had many people earn tickets for the Convertibles Drawing!  Remember you have to place the orders ontime - before noon tomorrow for #2 - and #1 has to be paid by midnight tonight!  Someone in our team might win it - I feel it in my bones!!!

A little sumpin' in your stockings!

If you are the recipient of a little gift in your mailbox it is because you placed an order of 50.00 or more in Campaign 26 - That one is the hardest one to produce sales because people have usually bought their gifts so this means I have some pretty terrific sales people on my team.

I hope you enjoy it - With so many people on our team it is difficult to do that all the time, but once in a while I want to give you something tangible to let you know that I know you are out there doing your best.

Those of you who  placed an order in
Campaign 1 - make sure you place an order of 50 or more in 2 and 3 so that you get 6 chances to win one of the 3 Mustang Convertibles!

Those of you in my California sector - your contest runs concurrently with ours but your winning sales campaigns should be 3, 4, and 5. 

50.00 isn't much - I've spent that much at CVS  just breathing.  Ok - keep smiling and please give me feedback - it's great to know some one is out there reading these tips and tricks.

Speaking of tips and tricks - I am doing a Technology training at Dennys - Jan 14, 2013 at 6:30 - be there and don't miss out - this will give you the edge you need to forge ahead and claim the President's club title.

Campaign 2 kicks off this week on Friday before noon.  So have your orders ready to input on Wednesday or Thursday so that you are not rushed on Friday!
